Bi-coastal Jet Setting...
My boys on Fire Island. At the top is Blake, to the right in the black shorts is Brad and next to him is Johnny "Abs". Is it any wonder that my friend Patrick (AKA: "Livonia Parsons") and I are planning on going to New York at the end of August. If you're still wondering, look at the picture again. Look closer. Closer. Ok, Ok, it's just that they are such man-candy! We are trying to concurrently squeeze in a twirl around Fire Island, to see the boys, and a twist around New York City for Wigstock. Can't wait to get there!
It seems that my blog site is experiencing a lot of traffic. I'm getting a lot of good feedback. I'm being told that people are loving the content and the pictures. I aim to please. I am also getting e-mails from a few people in the East Coast. I haven't talked to some of them in a couple of years, but my web postings seems to have reactivated our communication and friendship. I'm going to have to contact these friends to come and party with me when I jet over to the other coast.

When I say "Let's go!", it's time to go...
When I say it's time to go, it's time to go! Sometimes, every once in a while,my Divo nature comes out. When I say I want to leave, it's usually a good thing to follow me out the door. Why, let me give you an example. Remember my friend, Graig? The one that stayed at The Factory? Well, it turns out that the guy that he was dancing with got really freaky and clingy. He was pawing at him, telling him that he's noticed him before, all those cheesy lines that you'd expect about an hour before the "sidewalk sale" that materializes in front of every gay bar in town as soon as the lights come back on. Graig was so freaked out, that he left the club. A little while later, he noticed that the guy was following him. Graig had to break into a quick gallop and he literally ran all the way home. He should have left with the rest of us. Well, at least we know that he has arrived. Because, you have not made it in this town, until you have had your very own stalker.
Dinner at Gozar was quite enjoyable. I love the way that they start preparing the "Jonathan Divatini" when they see crossing the street. Because walking across the street can make this bitch quite thirsty. Chris sat us in a different table this time, because they had just sat someone down at my table a few minutes before I arrived. It turned out alright, as we sat in the patio drinking cocktails. Momma arrived a little while later and joined us. I had to have them fix her a Diva-tini as quickly as possible, as she was exhausted and thirsty from being at the Trevor Project pool party all afternoon. Later we had a few twirls at The Abbey, where Philip made sure that we did not have to wait for our cocktails. I mean there was a huge crowd around his bar station, and we were all feeling very dehidrated and in need of liquid sustenance. We only stayed for a short while, as it was quite crowded, and unless we are escorted to some sort of reoped off section, the crowd there can be very overwhelming. I get a rash when there are too many people around.
East West Lounge finally opened. Trip must have been biting his nails, because the construction crew were literally working up to the last few minutes before the first event. There have been and will be a few more private parties before the official grand opening. Let's see if this boystown can sustain an upscale locale at the site of the historic Revolver.
I'll upload more pictures and information once I get back on my own computer.

The first weekend of the summer...
Summer is officially here. I spent last night hosting a large dinner party at Gozar as the commencement to this weekend's adventure. Before dinner I had a pre-dinner cocktail at Fiesta Cantina. After dinner, I made the obligatory rounds at The Abbey, before heading off to Girlbar at Ultrasuede. DJ Heather V had all the girls and their fairyboys grooving at Girlbar. When not dancing I hung out with her girlfriend Kate, my WeHo wife Patty and my friend Graig. We kept on crossing past the forbidden hallway and made our way to Rick K's Popstarz at The Factory. My bartender, Gregg made some very stiff drinks for us, which got us into the mood to dance our asses off. I think I lost five pounds while dancing with Graig, Freddy, Johnny, Antonio, Patty, Mike, Mark, Brad, Cory, Eds and Brian. Later, after leaving my friend Graig dancing with some random guy, we went back to Fiesta Cantina where we made the rounds of the Slutty Summer premiere party. We lasted until last call and then made our way over to Micky's for afterhours debauchery. I''m glad that I went to Micky's, because I was able to wish my favorite dancer, Matthew, a very happy birthday, in person. We finally stumbled back to the hotel at around 3:00 AM.
Unfortunately, I had an appointment with my friend Damone Roberts, the "Eyebrow King" in Beverly Hills at 9:00 AM. I've only had a few hours of sleep by this time, so it's a good thing that eveytime he sculpts my brows, I look a decade younger.
I came back to the hotel, took a nap and lounged by the pool while reading the lastest issue of Odyssey Magazine, which is now on glossy paper. I guess they're now going upscale!. It looks like CandyAss, the creative director of the magazine, is mad at me. At least that is the impression that I get, based on the coverage, or should we say lack of coverage, in the current issue. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that he was at Fiesta Cantina, mouthing off about me, last week and my friend Matthew Fashion did not like what he was saying, so he threw a drink in his face. Or... maybe it has something to do with the fact that a few days later, the catfight resumed. Apparently a shoving match ensued between Candy and MattFash and the end result is that Candy was escorted off the premises, permanently, by the extremely effective Fiesta Cantina security personnel. I better get going cause I have to get ready for the Trevor Project Pool Party in BelAir.
Blind Item: This just in.... A young west hollywood socialite-in-training (SIT) stayed at Fiesta Cantina, way after I left the premises, and ended up at a private after party at The Chamberlain West Hollywood. The kid was so horny all night long, that I almost expected him to back into a lamp post and use it like a scratching post for his ass. Anyway.... it turns out that someone followed him into the bathroom of that certain hotel room. The intruder was also apparently very horny, because he proceeded to force himself onto said SIT, breaking the toilet in the process. The toilet water began to get all over the floor. No problem there, resourceful fags that they are, because they ended up getting freaky in the bathtub. I just want to know how much fun the rest of the the party was having, since no-one else seemed to notice the fracas in the powder room! Hmm... Just how much pressure does it take to break a solid porcelain fixture?
I'll post more information and pictures later. Ciao for now...

After I check in and do a little primping, I'll be heading off to my favorite restaurant, Gozar, owned by my friend Rusty Updegraff. Come by and say hello. LA Pride 2005
I wear my pride like a DIVO. I'm still recovering from that exhausting weekend. Thank you Christopher Street West!

I stayed at the San Vicente Inn, a quaint little place, owned by my friend, which is just 1/4 of a block from the center of boystown. (That's a whole other story, which I will get around to later)

Ivana Tramp, was a wonderful hostess all weekend long! She is the one with the big hair, big necklace, long dangling chandelier earrings in the picture to the right.
Friday evening started off with dinner and cocktails at Gozar and then to the Rick Burns and Colin Mathews' pre party for Sassy at Here Lounge. There's quite a few pictures of all the WeHo boys in Sassy drag. I love the Sassy poster with Megan and Shokra!

My friend Livonia Parsons, editor in chief of Odyssey Magazine just sent me a bunch of pictures from our weekend together. I'll post them in the "LA Pride 2005" album on my blog.
Check ouit Gary and Larry, the Lane Twins, as they climb a lampost in order to get a birds eye view of Paris and Kathy as they boarded their L.A. Pride Grand Marshall Float. They braved the crowds on behalf of Livonia at Odyssey Magazine, in order to get a close up picture of the Hilton's.
Also check out Bobby and I (#59 & #60) on the F List
Bobby, Graig and I attended several segments of West Hollywood Idol, which was emceed by our friend Matthew Fashion, who wore a wedding dress and a pope hat during part of the pride festival.
I'll update you with my adventures later!

Photo Larry's pictures
My friend PhotoLarry is an excellent event photographer. He's just posted some great pictures of the Dreamgirls on his website. You can also View and Order pictures from various events and read his Blog. Sometimes, the only way some of us remember what happened the night before, is when we read it on one of our friends' websites. But not me, not me. I remember everything!

Dreamgirls Revue – They’re all the Rage!
I have additional news about the Dreamgirls Revue. They're scheduled for the Premiere of the Dreamgirl’s Revue, on Tuesday, June 07, 2005, at their new venue, RAGE! – Located at 8911 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA 90069. – 310.652.7055.
The Dreamgirls are absolutely the best drag show that I have seen in years. Even if you’re the type that doesn’t normally like drag shows, the show that the Dreamgirls put on every week is a must see!
There is NO COVER CHARGE for this premiere event. However, you should probably bring a few bucks to tip the girls for their amazingly entertaining performances, as well as to have a few cocktails. Also, don't forget to thank my friend, Tony, who put it all together and made it happen at Rage!
The show is scheduled to start at 9:00, so get there early. Bring some friends. Look for me and say hello. I’ll be the loud one drinking my signature cocktail, the “Jonathan Diva-tini”.

Dreamgirls Review - A Scandal on Monday Night!
The Dreamgirls quit Micky's. It was a scandal on Monday night. They gave notice on Saturday, and were going to perform their last show on Monday night. Everyone was back stage putting on their makeup. Brad was getting the curtains just right. I was making sure that my 20 VIP seats were reserved. The place was packed. Then, all of sudden, they're told that they are not going to perform and that they need to leave. Hunter was outside mad as hell. Chad came out with tears in his eyes, with Adam not too far behind, trying to console him. Kiwi left so fast that I didn't even see her! The girls were crying cause they wanted to give a farewell performance. Oh well, on to bigger and better things! I 've been advised that they are set to debut at Rage on Tuesday, June 07, 2005. I've already been told that VIP seating has been reserved for me. I've been entertained by them for a while now. I'm showing up to support them, and I'm bringing all my bitches with me! I'm posting a new album with some of their pictures.
